Guided Fraser River Fishing Adventures

All five Pacific salmon species return to our rivers, with some runs numbering more than 25 million fish.
Salmon fishing in British Columbia is world-class, and you don’t have to travel to Haida Gwaii to find it. Some of the finest salmon water on earth is a short drive from Vancouver. All five Pacific species return to the Fraser and its tributaries. We have access to more than 12 coastal and inland rivers within two hours of the city, each with its own character and methods.
Chinook, the king of the river, are the largest of the Pacific salmon and can exceed 50 pounds. They are big, strong and ready to bust your tackle. Sockeye bring fast, acrobatic, line-peeling action in runs that often surpass 10 million fish. Hard-fighting chum top 20 pounds and reward stamina. Coho are the feisty, moody acrobats prized by river anglers.
Every other year, the pink salmon run returns in the tens of millions. Aggressive and easily caught, they coincide with the sockeye migration to create a fishing experience to remember. It is the perfect introduction for novice anglers. Each system fishes best at a distinct time. Our knowledge of the local rivers lets us move to wherever the salmon are running.
